I was at their show Saturday night and during their set, the bar was closed and photography was forbidden for the first half. They just played with a starry background and this atmosphere they created was complete serenity, even in Webster Hall (save for the occasional asshole who couldn't follow rules). You would never know watching a clip like this, but their live performance almost completely trumps their recordings.

I know it's early to call this, but High Violet might be one of the best albums of 2010.

Great review! You Forgot it in People is one of my favorite albums so I was nervous that BSS wouldn't live up to my unavoidable expectations for Forgiveness Rock Record. But they did and I love how with all of their combined talent, each song has such a different sound and yet the album still sounds as a cohesive work.
