Re: “Wilco (Their Best Album in Years)

If memorable songs are a judgment of how the new record is, then they failed. The last album isn't as bad as you may think and Sky Blue Sky starts off with 3 spectacular tunes. This one is nicely varied but you cant remember specific tunes. Songwriting is the toughest thing for any musician and I really don't put this above any album in the last 10 years as critics have been saying. Ive listened about 4 times. Maybe I will listen more. Maybe I'm missing something

Re: “Fleet Foxes Perform Helplessness Blues Track "Sim Sala Bim" on Fallon

There are no hooks or memorable tunes on this album. I've listened twice with friends and no one gets it yet. This is organic background music AT BEST. I really wanted to
like this one. I'm a big Wilco, Band of Horses, Black Crowes fan. Whats with all the 4 star
reviews? This album will be forgotten about soon.

Re: “Spoon's Transference Disappoints

Four songs from this album got played on local NY station 101.9 when album was released. That is major impressive! Mystery Zone just got picked as one of the best songs of 2010 by Rolling Stone. Written In Reverse is amazing! I cant stop listening
to this record. You think it blows. You missed the boat completely. I think you panned
this just to be contrary to everyone else. Your judgment cant be trusted

Re: “And Now the Bad News: The 10 Most Disappointing and/or Overrated Records of 2010

Once again, Infinite Arms an album that I cant stop listening to has been trashed by
your critics.Every person that I turn this on to loves or even gets obsessed with this
piece of genius. The first eight songs are amazing. The guy basically made a Beach Boys record with Summer Teeth production. I dare you to find better melodies or a better vocal performance anywhere.I dont give a crap about Band of Horses former records. Judge this on its own. I also loved and are still listening to Transference as well. Its hard to believe how harsh you were to two amazing records.I am 46 and have been on the cutting edge my whole life.Arcade fire is a poor Springsteen Knockoff. Thats your favorite. You stupid!

Re: “Spoon's Transference Disappoints

Totally dropped the ball on this one. Talk all the fancy talk you want but ive listened to this one more than any other record period. Its a work of art. Written in reverse should be the performance of the year. I honestly think that Mike Conklin doesnt know enough about good music to accurately have rated this one. I no longer trust your opinion sir.
