To the first question:
I've been taking my birth control hormone pills straight thru, not bothering to take the placebo pills and skipping my period completely. I've been doing this for nearly two years, and have not had a problem. There is no danger in not having your period- many gynecologists have told me this. I hate my period. Therefore I killed it.
