Actually Henry, if you had stayed all the way to the meeting's bloody end, you would have been surprised to find that another board member, Judith Grimaldi, made a motion during the "new business" section. Her motion was to ask the transportation committee to come up with some alternate locations for the bike lane on other streets that might find the support of a majority on the board. The motion passed unanimously , and the struggle to promote bicycle readership in S. Brooklyn goes on !
