Thereafter let the law ... but first the people ... assess the evidence-based knowledge of the negative social-policy implications of "institutionalizing" a psycho-sexual/mental disorder through "marriage" by rebutting the articles "Was Cuomo Misled on Gay Marriage?" or "Is Cuomo Ignoring the Evidence Against Gay Marriage?"
The bigger picture? “Homosexuality” is the ONLY psycho-sexual/mental disorder that sees as its necessary and ultimate goal the destruction of fundamental creation-structures dear to the Judeo-Christian ethic ... manhood, womanhood, family, sex, marriage!
But a persistent hypocrisy ... or else a strong delusion ... would rather Christians NOT defend their faith, their Bible, their national ethos ... with even something as rofound and as simple as ... the evidence!

Should the law ... or the people ... ever lack enthusiasm in defending self-evident truths, Justice Scalia offered the imperative in his written/read dissent in Lawrence vs. Texas, and it has since threatened to achieve unnerving predictive status if a "celebrity caste" of legislators and actors are allowed to usurp the will of the people ... and the evidence!
