I'm voting for Charles Barron. He is a true populist who supports the 99%.
That Jeffries could be okay with Atlantic Yards taking $200 million+ (and most estimate higher) in city and state subsidies AND stealing property with the fraudulent use of eminent domain? In this time of extreme fiscal need why is NYC financing ANY private developer? For 200+ million NYC should be getting a LOT more value. We all know Bloomberg and Ratner are part of the 1%. But why is Jeffries not against this project? If he can't even fight back on this project in his own backyard, then he'll never be able to withstand the pressure in Washington.
I just want someone who will work in MY interests--not the 1%. Report real news, not that someone is a "well-dressed 40-year-old" or "looks like Queen Latifah."
