she didnt say "accept that it's non-monogmous" she said "assume it's non-monogamous," essentially don't expect that it's monogamous unless you've had the "are we exclusive?" talk. People dread that talk but i love it. the art of putting it off just long enough, or bringing it up at that perfect random moment, or never needing to have it because you get proposed to, or his or her fb status changes, or catch him or her out with someone else, or catch something else you wouldn't have had you had the talk!.... all such swirly awkward funny romantic flurries flying around. if you're confused about your title, have the talk. then make out regardless.
