oh yes! new york is a wonderful place to live, as long as you dont kind living in a place where you cant verbalize a political opinion outdoors in a group without fear of a cop beating the shit out of you; as long as you dont have plans of operating an independent storefront; as long as you werent evicted so that a luxury hotel could be built; as long as you dont have a son of color; as long as you dont mind the destruction of every neighborhood that made new york special; as long as you dont mind a town run by an undemocratic oligarchy.
what sickens me about people like you is when you dont use your position of power and privilege to speak out against the injustice of whats happened to the city. instead, you seem to be excusing it, and somehow blaming the victims of it for being wimps.
essentially, youre an excuse writer, a propagandist. lacking in compassion, youve been completely cognitively captured by the elite, and youre using your skills as a writer to perversely turn their destruction into something romantic. shame on you.
