      <![CDATA[No, that's true. I actually tried to order vegetarian (or "flexitarian"), but the pinto beans came with ham chunks, and the turnip greens came with some kind of red meat threads. <br /><br />But I was there with, among others, a serious vegetarian, and he ordered a quatro of sides, including the fried okra, french fries, and.... two other legitimate veg sides. But I don't think anything there is even remotely healthy, and most of them were probably processed with some kind of meat powder? Meat oil? something.<br /><br />So yeah. Definitely not vegetarian friendly. But gently recommended. Not for you, though, Cecilia.<br /><br />

      <![CDATA[are you recommending cracker barrel, or just acknowledging it's existence? not to be the cranky vegetarian, but pretty much everything there is covered in meat seasoning. so even the vegetables are not vegetarian.
