Ok, I've now seen it and, after the frustrating experience I had, I'd like to recommend distributors to pass on this one and just rerelease "Woman on the Beach" a dozen times over.

(Ok, well, at least do a double feature of both.)

I want to know what kind of allergy certain distributors have to Hong's film. Is it a reaction due to each film's intelligence, insight and eloquence?

I will be at the screening on Saturday; and, once again, Hong's film will probably be one of the best--and one of the worst distributed (if it gets picked up at all, that is)--films at the NYFF.
