      <![CDATA[@Baracus: Yeah, I certainly agree with you on the tendency we all have for all-or-nothing proselytizing — it really is a silly and somewhat artificial divide, that between new eco-conscious models for measured, sustainable living and the lessons of efficiency we can take from the industrialized world. It makes for good TV and for sarcastic confrontations in comment threads.
