      <![CDATA[I have no idea if Kawalerowicz saw this movie in 75 (screener, or word of mouth), but his 1977 "Death of a President" is very similar in that "fanatical" attention to detail- the names, dates, actual location shooting etc. and a story of historical significance <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078283/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078283/</a>. Maybe both were influenced by "All the President's Men"?
