      <![CDATA[actually, fb's designs- for furniture, carpets, and more, were beautiful post-deco/ early international style chrome and glass etc. kinda the opposite of his un-ease making paintings. <br>
though i think there's a pretty clear modernist vibe in some of the backgrounds of the paintings, and even some of the pieces of furniture therein.
