      <![CDATA[The knowledge on how to synthesize various types of insulin obviously exists, the drug companies just have it locked away. I've been trying to find information on how one might synthesize insulin in this apocalypse scenario, but haven't had much luck yet...

      <![CDATA[I have had some of the same thoughts as you. I have been a Type 1 for a little over a year now, and I always thought before I was diagnosed that I would be able to ride out any kind of apocalypse, or end time scenario.

When my Junior High principal described my life that way 30 years ago, I didn't really get it. Now that I'm middle-aged I think I begin to get it.
