<![CDATA[Dear friend, regarding one of the most important novelists of the 20th century: I guarantee Philip K. Dick speculated that there might be a parallel universe in which a science fiction author named Phillip K. Dick is wondering if there's a parallel universe in which there's a science fiction author named Philip K. Dick.

<![CDATA[Didn't say it needed defending, just understanding: director makes film about transparency: bacon/scientist = verhoeven/director, both "artists" controlled by corporate environments, both on quest to reveal themselves (by stripping down thru film-like transparencies) only to discover the Eliotian emptiness within themselves/all modern men. you take it from there.

<![CDATA[Claims to *get* P.V.'s filmmaking but remains clueless about what might be the director's most revealing film (HOLLOW MAN), and is unable to spell one of the most important novelists of the 20th century's name correctly: nice job!
