- The Proposition, formerly of West 22nd Street in Chelsea, has moved to Extra Place, a little bit of extra street just off East 1st Street near Bowery (http://www.theproposition.com/wp/).

- A brand new and (based on a visit to their inaugural exhibition) quite promising new space called Dodge Gallery (http://www.dodge-gallery.com/) has opened at 15 Rivington Street (near the corner of Chrystie), making for another very dense little nucleus of LES art galleries on that block.
