      <![CDATA[I mostly agree with this article. The only area missing, to me, is the effect the internet has on the process of lifestyle materialism and commodifying dissent.We are slowly being reduced to a series of catchphrases and hotlinks it seems.

      <![CDATA[While I can't say I fully agree with this article overall, I did like the brief discussion of focusing on effect at the expense of meaning. However, I think the problem here is a confusion over the *experience* of meaning vs. the *communication* of meaning.

      <![CDATA[Waterwings: Mostly I agree with your comment, but ... if it *is* so easy to find good music now, how do you know you'll be best friends forever with someone else who also found that music? It's great that it's easier to find the good stuff, but it also means less that other people have found it too.<br>
