I agree with everyone above in some fashion, but porn just seems to be part of life now. It's all about teaching our youth properly, bottom line.

The Orthodox Jewish community has been there for more than a hundred years. So I don't think them being offended by porn in a storefront is a new cultural trend, nor do I think it is terribly unreasonable of them.

The reason I personally live in NYC, instead of the midwest, is that I like to enjoy life in a city where the easily offended do not often tread. I hope this is a blip in my experience rather than a larger cultural change.

      Does anything go in NY?
Must every child who walks down the street be confronted with huge images of pornography?
Isn't there a law that says that you can not publicly display pornography?
If there is, why have the cops been supportive? Why aren't they doing their jobs?
Is it really reasonable to ask all parents to "blindfold their kids" like the gallery owner demands, or is it more reasonable to put up a curtain so all who wish to go in and see the exhibit can, while the children and offended adults can pass by on a public street?
Ridiculous posturing.
Her comments which sound like they are sympathetic to the community are belied by her tweets.
What a lowlife.
People should smoke, barf and fart at her doorway, since that is legal in NY as well.
