      <![CDATA[@AviationMetalSmith: So you're saying that a good solution to the lack of bike lanes on a wide street would be to have cyclists ride on narrow side streets without bike lanes? If this is correct, then it is also stupid.

      <![CDATA[A bike lane would be nice, but there are also parallel streets running a block away on either side of Bay Ridge Parkway. A cyclist could use the back streets.<br>

Another comment: That is a lousy photograph, with this article, because it was shot into the setting sun.
