4 PM Mullholland’s is packed. At the end of the bar with the Jets game on, there’s hardly room to stand, let alone find a seat.
4:30 PM One fan’s weird, desperate excitement over a touchdown.
5 PM Detroit fans fearfully waiting for the clock to run out.
5:30 PM Crowded bar, with Steelers fans waiting for the next chance to throw their arms into the air.
6 PM Jets fans embracing.
6:30 PM Still watching.
7 PM The music is pumping, and one man is taking advantage of it.
8 PM Chairs become available. The rowdy enthusiasm suddenly subsides, and happy drinkers chat about the rise and fall of their teams throughout the day.
