When Caryl Churchill's 2002 near-future genetics tragedy had its New York premiere in 2004 Sam Shepard played the lead, a father whose son discovers he's a clone. In the National Asian American Theatre Company's staging James Saito plays the dad whose duplicitous acts are exposed when his original son returns to confront his clone (both played by Joel de la Fuente).
