No fucking way! This city already has too many goddamn Starbucks and McDonald's on every fucking corner, we don't need Walmart here too. New York's heart is in the one-of-a-kind places, not the chain stuff. And that's not even talking about how Walmart kills those little places, and hates unions, and has shitty healthcare for the slaves it employs. No fucking way.
If they opened one and I lived near it I would probably go. I know there are all these problems with the company, but I need to save money however I can. If the economy was better or I was richer I might say something different but now I can't say no to anything that might help me.

I've never been to a Walmart but I know a lot of people don't like them. I don't think I would shop at it since I don't like big stores and everything I need is on my block. I don't buy a lot of stuff. I guess I don't really care if one comes here. It probably wouldn't impact me.

I actually like Walmart, I used to shop in them all the time. I know this is the problem everyone has with it, but stuff there is so cheap. You really do save, like, $1,000 by going there. But I was buying stuff for my car, which is more expensive anyway. I'd check it out if it came here, but I don't think I would use it much. Living in New York trains you to buy less stuff at a time so you can get it home without a car. I'm used to that now, so I don't need to buy stuff in bulk anymore.
