Abraham Lincoln’s Big, Gay Dance Party

Tuesdays-Sundays. Continues through Sept. 5 2010; $51.25-$65

One of the biggest hits of last year’s Fringe, a strange San Francisco-bred blend of courtroom drama, campy dance numbers and semi-serious investigations into the nature of American liberties, an ensemble of bearded and top-hatted types oversee the trial of an Illinois middle-school teacher who suggested to her students that Honest Abe may have been gay. Will justice prevail? And will scheming gubernatorial candidates get the press they’re looking for?
