A visual and oral history of the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP), the gay and AIDS/HIV-positive rights group that included innumerable artists at the peak of its influence in the late 80s, including Gran Fury, Silence = Death Project, DIVA TV, and fierce pussy. This retrospective of the group’s art and activism (and art activism) also includes footage of over 100 interviews with surviving members.
