Parker Smith’s installations constantly fuse the worlds of popular culture, current events and mythology to imagine hybrid narratives that he constructs with knit characters, pieced together monuments and crafty DIY devices. The pleasure in his exhibitions comes equally from their material cleverness and the stories they tell.
