Backed by her new band Wild Divine, big-voiced folk songstress Alela Diane will preview her new album out next month via Rough Trade. Based on years' worth of previous material, though, one can expect songs to be tense but beautiful (and not boring, we promise); a place where handclaps and yo-ho-hos become hauntingly captivating. Better yet, proceeds for the show will go to local AIDS/HIV advocate Housing Works.
