There was a time in the late 80s when a Nintendo game console was merely the Best Christmas Gift Ever, but at the hands of the burgeoning 8-bit genre it's become a musical instrument too. The group of NYU kids who make up Anamanaguchi are leading the pack, using hacked Nintendos to make high energy, digitalized punk rock with titles like "My Skateboard Will Go On." Needless to say, it's a lot of fun.
