Dirty
It feels petty to pick on an obscure indie in these circumstances, but I can’t front: no 2006 movie made me want to leave the room more than the cop thriller Dirty, excruciating not for its honesty about street life, but for its smug, jittery posturing about same. Ever hear about how life sucks and there’s death and corruption all around us? If not, Dirty has a very long message for you.
