Anne Waldman's artistic resume is chock-full of Daddy-O cool: She ran the St. Marks Church Poetry Project in the late 60s, was featured reading her work in Bob Dylan's surreal film Renaldo and Clara, and in 1974 founded the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics with Allen Ginsberg. Following the Son of a Pony open mic, Waldman will perform her reading alongside the jazz renderings of her nephew, Devin Brahja Waldman, on saxophone.
