With Friend Roulette, members of local pop outfits Frances and ARMS join together to forge, well, more bedroom pop, but in this case, the bedroom is overlooking a Parisian cafe and there's a multi-piece orchestra playing bass clarinet and bicycle wheels in the background. Tonight, a strong showing of home-based bands, including the aforementioned ARMS, will usher in Friend Roulette's monthly residency at Pianos.
