Composer and performance artist Pamela Z’s latest solo piece drags the metaphorical baggage of travel and the emotional goods we take everywhere out onto a stage filled with jarring projections and the sound of her own voice. Singing, narrating, deploying all sorts of sampling technology, she unpacks her own luggage and others’ to figure out how to lighten our collective load.
