For those who love beards and America, tonight's a tossup between catching The Avett Brothers in Central Park or taking a chance on Seth Cohen's beloved Band of Horses to usher in their fourth album, Mirage Rock. The latter has a slight advantage, if only to see whether they're able to rekindle the soulful yearning and big-hearted vulnerability of their early work. Singles "Knock Knock" and "Slow Cruel Hands of Time" point towards yes.
