The two Brooklyn-based artists work in layers: Coron figuratively, revealing in cut-out, silhouetted paper cut-outs intricate levels of detail and activity; Szot abstractly, applying monochrome color fields atop more complex and detailed layers that peek through at the edges, their textures legible through the softer, more evenly applied colors.
