Music critics are constantly drawing parallels between Bethany Best Coast and Nathan Wavves: she, the lo-fi pop princess pining for a soul mate; he, the self-deprecating stoned prince of pop-punk. Male Bonding could easily replace Wavves in the equation, though, as they probably enjoy smoking weed too, and have a knack for turning slacker sentiments into undeniably catchy, raucous rock songs. Best Coast and Male Bonding: They're so totally going to make out tonight.
