Our favorite performance from Lollapalooza this year, or at least from what we saw on YouTube (airfare is expensive, yo), hands-down came from Mr. Conor Oberst. With the last few years spent in cowboy hats stomping around onstage with the Mystic Valley Band, it was nice to have seen him tense, solemn, his right leg anxiously rocking back and forth. We wish him all the happiness in the world, but for the sake of the 19-year-old in all us, it’s even nicer to see him look as though he’s on the verge of a breakdown.
