More than obvious precursor Metropolis, composer Darcy James Argue and artist Danijel Zezelj's live-painting performance with big band accompaniment—depicting a retro-futuristic, dystopian Brooklyn where the world's tallest tower is being built—makes us think of Del tha Funkee Homosapien and Dan the Automator space hip-hopera concept album Deltron 3030. This is a good association.
