Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival

Fri., Nov. 9 2012

This is the fifth year for the Williamsburg-based weekend of electronic shows, again stretching across several venues on the walkable cross-section of North 6th and Kent Avenue. Highlights this time include a live set from oddball techno producer Nicolas Jaar, whose collage-based dance music is probably a little too slow and strange to actually cause much motion, and L.A.’s Will Wiesenfled, whose sample-heavy pop project Baths makes a surprisingly fun live show out of twiddling knobs and triggering beats.
