Today, the last address on Middagh Street is No. 23, but before the Brooklyn Queens Expressway it continued at least to No. 7, famously known as the February House, where many writers (like Carson McCullers, Richard Wright, WH Auden and Paul Bowles) and others (like Gypsy Rose Lee and Benjamin Britten) lived. It would have been just about here, looking toward Columbia Heights.
