Pat Place, original guitarist for James Chance’s mighty No-Wave act The Contortions, went on to form Bush Tetras in 1979. Their sorta hit "Too Many Creeps" still stands as one of the all time great post-punk singles, predicting the sound of early 00s Brooklyn in its danceable beats and antisocial sentiment. It’s been almost a quarter century, and we still do not have a handle on this creep problem. Gently krautrocking openers DIVE still play a ton of shows around town. This is a special one to catch.
