This free show is a party for Pitchfork’s music-related video game series Soundplay, which earlier this summer released "Geometry of Love," a game inspired by the Chromatics’ song “Lady.” While Ivan Safrin’s abstract and interactive designs for that game fit the Portland disco band’s music just fine, it ignores the scientific impossibility of making anything as suitable as Sega’s 1986 first-person driving game "Out Run" already was. But, oh well, it’s a party. One that Oneohtrix Point Never DJs.
