After a low week in which most every young band of note decided to hang out in Texas of all places instead of New York City, we get a furious overflow of international bands who might as well stop off on the East Coast as long as their flights are going to be a jerk anyway. Chief among them are tricky to pronounce Glasgow synth-pop band CHVRCHES, the latest in a growing line of bands who sorta sound like The Knife (or at least enough to be cool).
