No musician has seemed to change more over the last year than the once 19-year-old baby-faced Dylan Baldi. Ramblings of a high school hate letter set to hooky pop-punk has somehow morphed into bloodcurdling screams and scraping guitars on his sophomore album, Attack on Memory, whose default news bite is Steve Albini's in-your-face production work. Consider the intimate confines of The Studio at Webster Hall as in your face as you'll likely see Baldi and Band before they set out on a proper tour.
