Pairing crunchy dance beats to romantically messy nihilism has been a goth-rocket to the top for Toronto’s Crystal Castles, who can now fill giant Manhattan spaces for their bleak end-of-the-world parties. Expect material from an as-of-yet untitled fall album, and perhaps a few onstage collaborations with old running buddies HEALTH, who’ve also made a career out of amping harsh noise all the way up to hedonistic bliss.
