We're almost certain that every night at the stroke of midnight, Dan Deacon turns into a cartoon. Tonight he'll be throwing a birthday party to celebrate Cake Shop's fifth year in existence, and one imagines there will be a five-tiered chocolate cake with pink frosting, confetti, and all of his cartoon friends — the chipmunks, the smurfs, those Keebler elves — will totes go crazy dancing to his tour de force of blips and beeps. Like we said, we're not sure about this (the cake, the confetti or the cartoon transformation), but tonight's our chance to find out. Either way, there will definitely be dancing by a mob-like group of fans.
