If you only make passes at girls or boys who wear glasses, you are probably already a regular attendee of the rave-ups and book swaps thrown by the local librarians in the Desk Set; if not, you should know that their annual dance party doubles as a book drive with all donations going to neglected prison libraries via Books Through Bars — bring a dictionary, thesaurus or Spanish-English dictionary, and get a free drink — and that librarians, and people who dress like them, are more fun than almost any other group of professionals.
