Hot off an appearance in the current Whitney Biennial, Clements presents a new set of her sprawling and multi-perspectival drawings, which often map out an entire architectural space in a continuous vista. By portraying uninterrupted vision on a two-dimensional surface, she creates a new kind of vision that’s a little like a panning shot in cinema, slowly passing over an entire room or street without cutting or re-orienting itself. Along the way she provides notes on the stories and experiences emanating from each space, as if giving a tour of her bizarre worlds.
