We are at least two-thirds as excited about this reunion as everyone else seems to be. We still listen to that one record, You're a Woman, I'm a Machine, probably once or twice a year, and we still think it's pretty admirable that they managed to do the dance-punk thing so much better than everyone else — that they managed to represent both halves of the hyphenated genre without becoming a parody of either. So yeah, it's cool that they're back together and playing Brooklyn. But honestly? The Waterfront? Not exactly an ideal setting, by any means.
