Redmond Entwistle curates this group exhibition that is structured around his film Monuments, which looks at the influence of Post-Minimalist artists in New York. The self-produced and indie aesthetic of Entwistle’s film is echoed in the other works arranged around the temporary screening room that has been erected right in the gallery space especially for this exhibition. Mary Billyou’s hand-painted text canvases, Suzanne Goldenberg’s weightless paper and fabric contraptions and drawings, and Rafael Sánchez, and Kathleen White’s long-running artists’ books projects all take up the show’s DIY style and lead it in new directions from Entwistle’s focal point.
