In paintings that are at once insanely beautiful—full of exquisite textures, bold colors and hyperreal detail—and sometimes shockingly violent—concerning, as they so often do, the eating habits of wild animals—Roz creates images that are incredibly potent: tropical flowers bloom, blossoms cascade to the jungle floor, and the bright red flesh of animal carcasses glistens.
