Let's face it: This has actually been sort of a shitty summer for free concerts, no? There have been some highlights, for sure, but it's hard to shake the feeling that something's been missing. Strange, then, that the answer to all of this may come courtesy a corporately branded venue in Williamsburg — House of Vans is a huge new venue that's hosting a series of free-with-RSVP shows over the next couple months, and tonight's a must-see with Toronto punks Fucked Up contenting to tour hard on their Album of the Year contender, David Comes to Life.
